About Anatoly Papanyan

Anatoly Papanyan was born in 1941 in Armenia.

1967 – Graduation from the State Institute of Arts in Yerevan, Armenia.

1968 – 1976 – statewide exhibitions of young artists in Armenia.

1980 -1985 — participation in “Armenian Art Abroad” exhibitions in:

  • Ceylon
  • Austria
  • Luxemburg
  • USA
  • Canada
  • and Finland.

1990–1991 – acquisition of artworks by the Armenian State Picture Gallery and The Modern Art Museum in Yerevan, Armenia.

1992 – Acquisition of artworks by the Pushkin’s Museum of the Western Art in Moscow, Russia (five etching prints).

1981–1991 – Teaching in the Experimental Center of Aesthetic Education and the Art Institute in Yerevan, Armenia.

1993 – Moving to Israel.

1994 – Artfocus festival in Binyaney-HaUma in Jerusalem, Israel.

1994 – Personal exhibition in Netanya, Israel.

1995 – 1994 – the exhibitions of “The six” artists and “The seven” artists in the Artist’s Union Hall, Tel-Aviv, Israel.

1995 – Personal exhibition in Berlin, Germany.

2000 – “The Fifth Corner” group exhibition, Netanya, Israel.
