Ever since childhood, Isakov has been deprived of both of his hands. Having received an electric shock, both of his arms were amputated: left arm removed completely, and his right arm up to the elbow.

Isakov’s works have been exhibited in Armenia, Russia, Sofia, Budapest and Los Angeles. There have also been two films shot about the artist.
